Tercentenary Celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall

3 November, 2017

Whilst the 300th Anniversary celebrations of the United Grand Lodge of England were streamed around the world, 100 lucky Hertfordshire masons were amongst those who shared the experience live at the Royal Albert Hall.

Assistant Provincial Grand Master James Harrison said “The event was a real celebration of the history and values of Freemasonry, and reflected its continued relevance in today’s world. Our values of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth are as important now as they were in 1717, and long may that continue.”

53 Hertfordshire Provincial Stewards formed part of the team stewarding the event, which was drawn from the Provinces surrounding London, as well as Metropolitan Grand Lodge.

The Provincial Grand Master said, “This was a truly magnificent occasion drawing together the most senior representatives of Freemasonry throughout the universe to jointly commemorate the Tercentenary of the formation of the Premier Grand Lodge of the World and the fiftieth anniversary of the installation of Bro HRH the Duke of Kent as its most respected Grand Master”.
