Graffiti on the walls of Royston Cave contains mysterious symbols whose meaning is often unclear

Royston Cave is an enigma. No records of its age or purpose exist. Some theories suggest it was used by the Knights Templars, others by King James I and the Freemasons.

Join Halsey Hall as they host a fascinating talk on this historic local monument, presented by the curator for North Herts Museum, Keith Fitzpatrick-Matthews, on Wednesday, 22 January.

Tickets for the event are completely free (though donations to cover expenses are welcomed). The doors open at 6.30pm and guests are invited stop by for a drink beforehand.
