Volunteering Opportunities in the Province

23 April, 2020

In the current situation, there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer in the community, for those who are able.

In these challenging times, it is more important than ever that we all pull together and look for opportunities to demonstrate our core values of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Even though we are unable to meet in person, we can still find ways to make a difference and help in our community; actively practicing that virtue we all profess to admire!

Here are some of the local and national organisations that you can approach if you are willing and able to volunteer:

NHS Volunteer Responders (Royal Voluntary Service)

This is a national program which has already been widely publicised and for which 750,000 people have already signed up. Interest has been so high that the organisation has paused new applications for the time being.
