Shooting from the Herts

29 May, 2021

Another one of the Province’s popular specialist interest units, Lodge of True Aim, this month hosted the Provincial Charity Clay Shoot at Hertford. Traditionally the event is always very well supported, and this year was no different. A total of 98 ‘Guns’ participated on the day, with True Aim itself fielding four teams.

However it was Hertfordshire’s Provincial neighbours, Essex who claimed the winning spot on the day with Mark Woollard and Bob Battaglia coming joint first. Indeed, Essex also managed to claim third and fourth place in the results table with an impressive set of scoring.

Two charities, Potential Kids and the Broxbourne Borough Cerebral Palsy Football Club, were the worthy recipients of a total of £1,000 was raised on the day.
