The Lodge today
We meet 4 times a year, Installation in November, then regular meetings December, February & May of following year. We have a mixture of experienced and new Masons. Our meetings start earlier than most to facilitate our senior brethren being able to get home before it’s too late( particularly in the winter months and to allow our shift workers to get to their night shifts so they can save their Annual Leave.
The lodge has many TFL tube workers as members along with retired business men.
LOI’s are on Tuesday evenings for 4 weeks prior to meetings, each office is progressive, Junior Masons are filling the Offices with the Senior brethren supporting them.
Our history
The Lodge was formed in June 1975, celebrating 50yrs in 2025.
Sadly we only have 1 founder surviving and he is 96yrs young so our history has been somewhat lost as the other elder brethren are suffering various degrees of Alzimers and dementia. We have a good mix of Past masters and Light blues ranging in ages.
In the community
Not involved in the community for any specific cause; most members are not local and are shift workers, senior brethren are too elderly and infirm.
