The Lodge today
Gadebourne Lodge No 6960 started as a Hemel Hempstead New Town Lodge 75 years ago, but has broadened its' scope to include Berkhamsted, and surrounding villages. We are a relaxed Lodge, well integrated the community and support local charities.
Our history
Our Master Elect / WM at our September 2025 meeting, WM Peter Matthews, gave a brief history of our Lodge on the occasion of out 75th Anniversary in March 2025 which he would be more than happy to share with interested brethren
In the community
Gadebourne Lodge holds a Burns Night every January with profits last year going to Riding for the Disabled and Berkhamsted Town Hall Trust. This last year we supported the Swan Youth Club in Berkhamsted, St Francis Hospice, Marie Curie, West Herts Hospital, and the Festival
