10 YEAR CELEBRATION

10 YEAR CELEBRATION

This year marks a very special milestone for the Fleet House Light Blues Club as members gathered to celebrate the club’s 10th anniversary.

What began as a simple idea has grown into one of the most vibrant and active communities for newer Freemasons in Hertfordshire. Over the past decade the club has brought Light Blues together from across the province through lodge visits, social gatherings, learning opportunities and shared experiences that help strengthen friendships and support members in the early years of their Masonic journey.

The purpose of the club has always been clear: to engage and support newer Freemasons across Hertfordshire, creating opportunities to explore Masonry, discover new experiences and engage with fellow brethren beyond the lodge room.

The anniversary dinner brought together members both past and present to reflect on the club’s journey so far. Many of those who were involved in the early days were present, alongside newer members who represent the next generation of the club. The evening was filled with conversation, laughter and plenty of memories as brethren looked back on the events, trips and friendships that have defined the club over the last ten years.

As part of the celebration, a new short film titled “Origins” was premiered. The film tells the story of how the Fleet House Light Blues Club first came into being, tracing the journey from the original idea through to the inaugural meeting that formally launched the club. Through the voices of those involved at the beginning, the film captures the enthusiasm, energy and sense of purpose that helped shape the club in its earliest days.

For many watching on the evening, the film served as both a reminder of how far the club has come and a celebration of the people who helped bring it to life.

Ten years on, the Fleet House Light Blues Club continues to play an important role in Hertfordshire Freemasonry. By bringing brethren together in a relaxed and welcoming environment, the club helps strengthen connections across the province and ensures that newer members feel supported and involved from the very beginning of their Masonic journey.

As the club enters its second decade, there is a real sense that the story is still only just beginning.
