The “Wanderers” (full name “The Hertfordshire Wanderers in association with the Norfolk Nomads”) are an informal group of masons who enjoy travelling to other Lodges both in UK and overseas. The meetings chosen are usually of special interest or have been particularly enjoyed on past visits. Travel in UK is usually by car on an expense sharing basis.
Visits will be published, regularly updated, on the Herts Provincial website and sent to interested brethren from time to time. Correspondence will, in most cases, be by email. Any brother interested in a visit or visits should email Tony Godfrey (firstname.lastname@example.org) His name will then appear with the visit(s) that he has chosen. Each visit will have an organiser who will be attending the function and will be in communication with the host lodge and the interested Wanderers. Names are provisional to record interest; a firm commitment will only be required much nearer the visit date.
I now have a database containing the names of 89 wanderers who have replied to my general emails requesting current email addresses. These Wanderers will receive updates. Otherwise the current update can be found on the Provincial website.
I have had several returned emails. If you know of anyone who has expected, but has not received, an update please ask them to contact me.
Please remember to update me if you change your email address.
Some visits are marked (awaiting contact) these are visits that were on the list but, for which, I have no contact to date. If you are the contact, or know who is, please contact me.I will be removing them at the next update if no contact comes forward.
