Robin was Initiated into Amwell Lodge 6459 in 2000 and became its Worshipful Master in 2008 and again in 2019. He is also a member of Hertfordshire Masters Lodge no 4090, and a member of Hertfordshire Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge no 8984. He is also a member of The Royal Arch, a Mark Master Mason and a Royal Ark Mariner. 

Robin was born in Tewin in 1957 and has a son and a daughter. Having had a career as a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS) he currently is a Consultant for a London based National practice of Property Consultants. In addition, his hobbies include motor sport, aviation and winter sports. He is a Liveryman of The City of London in The Honourable Company of Air Pilots (holding both aeroplane and helicopter pilot’s licences) and has been granted The Freedom of The City of London.
