Tom was initiated into Chipping Barnet Lodge no. 5599 in 1988, becoming Worshipful Master in 1999 and again in 2015: He subsequently joined Welwyn Garden City Lodge no. 5748 and Herts Masters Lodge no 4090. He was exalted into the Royal Arch in 1995.

Tom is retired from his career in the construction industry, ultimately having been Business Development Director of a major contractor. He married Caroline over 40 years ago, they have two children and currently two grandchildren. ‘W.Bro Dad’ was especially proud to have initiated his son into his mother lodge, and again installing him into ‘the chair’.

Tom has been a Visiting Volunteer for the last five years, assisting the membership and their dependants in securing support from the Masonic Charitable Foundation. In his spare time Tom enjoys the company of his family and watching rugby as a passionate supporter of England and a season ticket holder at Saracens. Most mornings Tom can be found exploring the Hertfordshire countryside with his faithful chocolate Labrador.
