The Lodge was founded almost entirely by the Past Masters and Members of the Theobald Lodge No. 4726 – a Lodge with many Members at the time.
The Crest design is of the delightful old Church of St. Mary situated in the historical part of Cheshunt, known as Churchgate, with the Latin inscription, ‘Esto Perpetuum’, meaning ‘Let it be Forever’.
