The following is an excerpt VW Bro Paul Gower’s speech when proposing the Toast to the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Colin Harris, at the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge today Wednesday 3rd October.
“Brethren, this is an occasion tinged with sadness for today, RW Bro Colin Harris, has presided over his last annual meeting as our Provincial Grand Master having decided, as many of you will be aware, to retire from that office in late summer 2013.”
It is expected that the name of his successor will be announced in due course and he will be installed in September 2013.
