Letter to Members:
“I (George Coxwell) have taken on the Office of Secretary and hope that we can all work together in restarting the Herts Masonic Bowls Association, (HMBA), to take on other Masonic Provinces and local Clubs.
I realise that our numbers have fallen, I also know there are Masons in Herts that are not aware of the Bowls Association. In the past our partners have not taken part in this Association. I wish to change all this and to that end, I am asking you to renew your membership, ask your partner to join us as well and let’s all get out on the green this coming season with HMBA teams whose intention is to win and enjoy a great day out among family and friends.
Fee’s for Membership:-
Hertfordshire Masons, and Mason’s resident in Herts – £6.00
Wives, Partners and Family Members – £1.00
Widows – no charge

Competition Details:
“Herts Masonic bowls competitions have been running since the mid 1920’s, and we are anxious to keep them going. The singles, pairs and triples, will now be “open”, i.e. masons, their wives or partners, and widows will be able to enter these competitions. The format for this year will be the same as previous years, and the Finals Day will be on Tuesday 17 September 2013 at Herts Bowls Club.
