ME Grand Superintendent E Comp John Ilott Retires

27 March, 2014

At the Convocation of Hertfordshire First Principals Chapter No. 4090 held on 26th March 2014 the ME Grand Superintendent, E Comp John Ilott, announced his retirement from office with effect from 31st October 2014.

E Comp John cited his current, but improving, medical condition and his desire to make way for a younger Companion to take the Province forward as his reasons for deciding to retire.

E Comp John has given the Royal Arch Province eight years dedicated service as Grand Superintendent and has just presided over an appeal for the Royal Arch Bi-Centenary which produced a sum in excess of £170,000, the highest amount of any Provincial Grand Chapter and second only to the much larger Metropolitan Grand Chapter of London.

I am sure that all members of Hertfordshire Craft Province will join with me in wishing John and Glenys many years of happy retirement.
