The Life of a Town Crier Dick a man of great character and the current Town Crier of Beaconsfield and only the third in the town since 1900 gives a fascinating account of the role of Town Crier. He has been in the role since 1969 and covered many important events including the Queens Golden Jubilee and won many prizes in Town Crier competitions.
