Rosewood Lodge No 8793 will be hosting a dance event on Friday 31 May at Mayflower Place, Hertingfordbury, in support of the Maggie’s Centre at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.
Maggie’s Wallace supports those with cancer as well as their families. They provide counselling, advice regarding all aspects of treatments and therapies such as reflexology & massage for patients and their carers. They are a drop-in centre providing tea, coffee and excellent cakes any time during office hours or just a quiet space to sit and ponder. They also run classes in the evening using professionals from the hospital to help people understand and deal with all aspects of life with and after cancer.
The event is open to all and costs £25 per person (£12 for under-12s); inclusive of a buffet dinner. Each ticket also includes entry in to a prize draw to win four tickets (two adult and two children) to visit Silverstone for the weekend of the British Touring Championships! During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to enter a second prize draw for an additional surprise experience day at Silverstone.
