Ending suspension of meetings in Hertfordshire

5 May, 2021

Brethren,

In December 2020 I took the decision to suspend Masonic activity in Hertfordshire until 5th April 2021. Subsequently on 17th March I extended that suspension until 16th May in line with Government restrictions.

I am pleased to say that, owing to the great success in containing the Covid virus in the UK, there will be no further extension of the suspension and meetings can therefore recommence from 17th May 2021.

It is essential that brethren continue to observe Government regulations relating to social distancing and to the directions issued by the United Grand Lodge of England as set out in the 29th March edition of the “First Rising” newsletter.

All of the above is contingent upon there being no changes to either Government policy or UGLE directions prior to 16th May 2021.
