Brian was Initiated into Watford Lodge No 404 in 2001 and served as its Worshipful Master in 2009. He is also a member and Past Master of the Old Fullerian Lodge No 4698 and Hertfordshire Past Masters' Lodge No 4090.

He is a member of the Royal Arch, a Mark Master Mason and a Royal Ark Mariner, as well as being a Board member and part of the Centre Events Team at Halsey Masonic Hall in Watford.

Brian is married to Anne and they have two children. He is the owner of an independent estate agency based in Watford and, in his spare time, sits on his local church Parochial Church Council, helps run a local Youth Club and can be found treading the boards in amateur theatre.
